Description: The male mantis shrimp are often dark green, and the female mantis shrimp are often tinged with orange.Also it has yellow to to orange spots on its segments.

Habitat: It lives in coral ruble and in the cavaties in dead coral heads in shallow water.
Range (include invasive, native, endemic): It is native in the Philippines and it is invasive in the Hawaiian islands.
Trophic information: It eats other crustaceans and molluscs. It gets eaten by Scorpion fish.
Safety: Beware of its front thickened elbows. It is able to break and crack glass. If injured tend to wounds quickly.
Comments: It was found at different sites around the island.But BEWARE of its thickened elbows!
