Description: This crab has medium length, smooth pinchers. It is commonly found with red, brown, and orange. You will find three gray and white dots on its back shell marking the center of the carapace. It has six legs which are usually yellowish-orange.

Habitat: It lives in shallow reef areas and in intertidal zones. You can find them hiding in small crevices and holes.
Range (include invasive, native, endemic): They range from shallow reefs to fifty feet ecceeding. They are native to Hawaii and  are found in the indo-pacific.
Trophic information: This crab is a scavenger, it eats dead animals, animal matter, and other dead things.
Safety: You might want to stay away from their pinchers because they are very sharp and they can amputate your limbs.
Comments: This crab is very interesting and its colors and shape is very intriging. We found this crab at only one site, Ewa beach.
